I am what I call pseudo ambidextrous. Ambidextrous means that you can use both hands equally well. I, on the other hand, am right handed for some things, left handed for others, and I can't switch between the two. E.G. I write, eat, and shave right handed. I play sports (kick, throw, swing) left handed.

I've tried using both hands to shave, but I was not successful.

I'm trying to teach myself to use my left hand when shaving my right side. I have a theory that I'm testing that says I can get a bbs shave easier on my left because of the angle when using my right hand.

When shaving with a safety razor, I only use my dominant hand (right). I've tried two-handed shaving with a safety, but I've not stuck with it.

Of course, when using a straight I always use both hands.

I too am left-handed and use that hand for most of my shaving, although I use my right hand to go across the grain, nose to ear, on the right side of my face. (When I was growing up I did most things left-handed, including writing with a twisted hand to avoid smearing my pencil writing, but I golfed and batted in baseball right-handed.)

Never. I always use my dominant (right) hand, throughout my shaves. Shy

I should mention that I use both hands if I use a straight razor, though, which isn't very often.

Depends. For my face, I use my dominant hand for the entire shave when I use a DE. I switch when I use my shavette. For my head, I switch hands regardless of razor type.

Right hand dominant, and I use my right hand only for all of my head shaves whether I am using DE, SE, shavette, or straight.

I only use my right hand when shaving, but one thing struck me as odd. As a huge baseball fan, I can think of quite a few players who are right-handed throwers, but who bat left. Are you lefties who bat right handed also lefty throwers, or do you throw righty?

It has always interested me when people throw with one hand and bat on the opposite side.

I'm a righty, throw righty, and bat lefty. Also, when I go shooting I'm left eye dominant. I'm all mixed up. Happy2
