Hi everyone, I'm buying my first Ethos soap and I was thinking of Colonia. Do you think it is suitable for sensitive and dry skin?

Hi everyone, I'm buying my first Ethos soap and I was thinking of Colonia. Do you think it is suitable for sensitive and dry skin?

The new F base is phenomenal.  That being said, I believe Colonia is still only out in the older base.  I would look for the f base with ostrich oil in it (then you have what I consider one of the bases available for dry, sensitive skin). 

I would choose Vetivert (for a mild, cologne based scent), ShaveMD (smells like gingerale/Sprite) or Fresco (lime and basil) based off of looking for the right base and scent.  None match Colonia but these are reasonable scents that are loved by the community.

Could Nuage de Citron also work? In Europe there is not much choice of ETHos soaps

The distributor in Europe is getting a shipment next week I believe.  

Nuage de Citron is lemon and sandalwood and dries down to sandalwood.  It is a little different scent profile and it is the latest F base.  It should give you an outstanding lather and shave.

I'm Currently out of Colonia but I'll be making a large batch in the near future in the new F Base. My Euro vendor Anticatura will have it soon after it is made. I'm shipping him a big order today with all the latest releases and some of the standards that he is out of.

Hello Sir

It is the new F Base if there is a white label on the bottom of the jar. If not then it's the 2nd version of the F Base so still a good base as it was an improvement on the 1st one.

I am shipping an order to him today so he will have the newest F Base in the Nuauge de Citron in a week or so.

Let me know as I"m curious which one you have.
