Joie de Vetiver is sold out and stock is low on the other three but I will have another 10 Mossly Lime available in a week or so. The response this time was higher than I expected.

Thanks to all.

Cheers,
Peter

Thanks,
Mark

Thanks for your message. I'm happy that you noticed the reduced shipping costs. I'm doing what I can to subsidize shipping. Hope you enjoy!

Well, I missed out on the Joie de Vetiver, but I did still manage to order: Lavenders, Mossly Lime, and Patchouli Spritz! (I need more shaving soap like I need another hole in my head  Tongue)  This soap is top notch!  I can't resist.

I did notice that the shipping was subsidized.  Thanks for that, Peter!  Happy2  It is appreciated!

These 3 tins of soap will bring me up to 5 Desmond's Barrow shaving soaps.  I believe I have the beginnings of a collection!  Big Grin

Okay, Peter (Scritchnscrub), you've done it again.  It only took five days for my latest Desmond's Barrow order to get from Toronto to San Diego (which is super fast) so when it arrived yesterday afternoon I already knew what was going to star in this morning's shave, Joie de Vetiver.  To say I wasn't disappointed would be an understatement.  For those who enjoy vetiver, the scent is wonderful and it pairs with Guerlain's Vetiver Eau de Toilette perfectly.  However, what makes your soaps shine is the lather and how it feels on my face and the post shave feel.  As I wrote in my SOTD, I used an aftershave out of habit but none was needed.  There was absolutely no dryness, post shave, and there was just the very slightest comfortable moisturizing without feeling in the least bit greasy.  Job well done. Happy2

My next shave will be with the Patchouli Spritz and I am already looking forward to it. Smile

Freddy I had to chuckle when I saw the transit time of 5 days to San Diego. Desmond's Barrow soap is made in Toronto, Canada and I'm in Alberta, Canada. I don't expect to see my soap until the end of this week or maybe even next. Yours arrived so quickly because it spent a minimal amount of time in the hands of Canada Post whereas my order will be at the whim of Canada Post for its entire, tortuous journey. I also suspect there's the standard delay order put on any Alberta bound package coming out of Toronto just on principle. Big Grin I'm looking forward to trying Peter's soap.

Mark, as I've commented before, as much as folks complain about the USPS, and very often rightfully so, our postal service is a mere beginner compared to Canada Post when it comes to sheer awfulness and that opinion is based on what I've heard from Canadians like Peter and yourself.

I sincerely hope you get your Desmond's Barrow soap soon and I will look forward to your thoughts on it. Smile

According to CP tracking you should have yours on Monday Mark. Cross your fingers. And toes. But I won't dispute the standard delay order. I guess one slipped through. Evilgrin
