Deodorant/Antiperspirant

I started using the arm & hammer ultra max (I believe that's what it is) antiperspirant today. I've only had it on for about 4 hours and my pits are already tingling. for less than $3, I figured I'd give it a try since it smells really good..

So, unfortunately I had to stop using the razorock deodorant, as it was starting to irritate my underarm skin after a while. Not sure what was causing it but it was getting far too itchy for me to stand it so I had to stop. This does not mean, of course, that it's a bad product, it just didn't work for me

So back to store bought stuff and I'm using Dove Men Plus Care spray can stuff, have been for a long while now. I'm happy enough with it, so I'll stick with it until I can't take it any more

Mitchum unscented.

Tried Razorock. Made my skin peel.

Smelled nice and before getting the rash, I liked it well enough.

Mitchum for me. Unscented or the one mountain something scent. Both in gel.

My go to for years.

Once tried Drysol. You have to order it online from Canada. There a similar one from England too.

Felt like I was putting battery acid in my pits each night. Yeah, you put it on at night.

People love it though. Not me. Uh uh. Nope.

Mitchum gel. Unscented.

I keep my Aqua Velva in an old glass bottle from Mama Bears. Pump spray top. Once in a while I spray a shot or two under my arms before applying the Mitchums. Gives me a little extra coverage.

I'm not particularly concerned by aluminum. Fluoride in my water, now that's something that grinds my gears.

I've found that most natural deodorants do not work for me and actually make me smell and leave my pits feeling sticky all day. Tom's of Maine...nope, PAA...nope, Kiss My Face...nope. The only thing that seems to work for me is Old Spice. Deodorant not antiperspirant. And it's gotta be the blue hard gel kind, not the white stuff. I used to use the Pure Sport scent for years, but now I have a citrus and sandalwood one that I like. I forget what it's called. I tried Brut for a little bit. The scent is nice, but I don't like how it goes on wet feeling. Have yet to try the alum stone, maybe I'll give that a go...

I have the citrus scented The Best Deodorant on Earth, and, you're right, it's likely the baking soda that was causing my issues. Which is unfortunate since I did like the product itself and would have continued to use it

that's how I felt about all of the other products I tried and ended up throwing away.

I have been using the PAA CAD deodorant for over a year now.  Just a fantastic product.  The stick also lasts for an exceptionally long time, so I still find it great value.

Both for me.  I get a good 12 hour work day out of it.  And a stick lasted me I believe 8 months?  I'm not kidding.  Granted, I'm pretty easy on deodorant, but it's really thick; it's not a typical soft deodorant.  A little goes a long way.  I'm not saying everyone will get that longevity, but it sure works for me.
