Glad you're enjoying it so far - it will continue to open up, and should really hit its stride around 7-12 shaves (based on my experience and early feedback).

Drats.. now I am kicking myself for missing out on the Washington.. Lol

Congrats mate, your awesome brush will just get better and better.

Another use of the Washington tonight. Properly loaded with Soap Commander Passion, it was everything I could ask for in a dense and soft knot. The flow through was good and the face feel excellent. It's definitely taking several lathers to come into its own. I keep reaching for another brush to use but then grab the Washington because I'm interested in seeing how it progresses.

Man. I don't know what it is about the pictures I've been seeing others take of their Declaration shaving brushes, but those handles look better than they look on their website!

I've been enjoying my 27mm reknot from Declaration. Even pulled a trigger for the 30mm Franklin brush! [Image: U5CGZ6b.jpg]

I personally believe Scott is making the finest brushes available today. Yes, that includes Paladin, The Varlet, Brad Sears, M&F, Simpsons & Thater. He packs his brushes beautifully and the two band hair is reminiscent of Sabini's Rooney Heritage XL line from years back. He has sourced remarkable hair.

Also kudos to the Moderators for allowing great artisan/vendors to just join up and jump right in. This is what makes a forum like this shine.

Man, those look like some nice gel tips. I haven't used a badger in ages...I should bust one out here soon.

How does one acquire one of these? Just keep checking the site to see if there is new stock?
