Merkur 45c Bakelite razor and Baume.be shave cream from Shaving Station; great service and fast delivery a few days before Xmas.
The Belgians have conquered! That's a phrase you don't hear very often. If scientists were to invent the best shaving cream, this Baume.be would be it. Very easy to work up a deliciously slick lather from a tiny dollop of cream. The scent is very faint just kind of clean and pharmaceutical but pleasant none the less. Performance is outstanding and so is the skin conditioning afterwards. The large 200ml tub is simple but substantial hard plastic. Quality all round. It's a tad expensive but since you only need a small amount I think it's great quality value for money.
Plastic/bakelite is the new stainless steel. I've now found my travel razor. After trying various mild razors (like Feather Popular and Wilkinson Sword) to use for travelling I've found this one Merkur 45c has just the right amount of bite. It offers a very comfortable close shave that surpasses many of my other razors. It weighs practically nothing and is cheap enough to replace if lost etc. on holiday.
A tiny tub of Baume.be decanted from the motherload and this razor would team up for a perfect getaway holiday.

That special edition series of TFS soaps are each made as a tribute/homage to a specific individual that has played a meaningful role in the success of TFS soaps so the images are a likeness of the individual. There's one of Joseph of Italian Barber - BBF. I don't agree that they're horrific but rather, touching if you know the context.
