Pretty sweet Williams shave kit Dave.
But that last post. No more shave related purchases this year?  It’s only January. That’s a very daunting 11 months if true.

Yikes! I am doing baby steps this year, one month at a time, with list making and waiting periods before purchasing.

Unless I see a great deal that is limited in time!

In any event, here's wishing you well!

Gillette 50+ or Older Focus Week
Saturday January 16, 2021
Razor: 1952 Gillette Tech
Blade: Gillette Spoiler (5)
Brush: Stirling Synthetic
Soap: Stirling One
AS 1: Humphrey's Alcoholado Maravilla 70
AS 2: Stirling One
Fragrance: Tom Ford Grey Vetiver

Afternoon Zoom shave with a friend learning to use some stuff I sent him. He chose the Voskhod blade this morning with the Gillette 1953 Super Speed Razor. I sent a near new soap/splash set of Stirling Hipster that he whipped up with a Graydog Walnut with a Synthetic knot. He had a Home Alone moment with the Aftershave but he said it's the first time he actually enjoyed his shave. He said he needs to work on the angle and I'm sure pressure but said he could feel the benefits of the soap over his canned goo (my words) and not feeling so dried out already. He says I can tell already I'll never go back from using the soap and brush. So we have someone well on their way. Itwas killing me to wait till noon to shave with him and I had an AMAZING shave taking off the extra scruff. Haven't missed a day of shaving every 24 hours in over 2 years since I've started keeping track and the extra growth was very annoying even with just 6 hours extra. That's all I got today so hope everyone is enjoying there weekend !!
