Damn Fine Shave participation in Movember (2018)

We're back for another year of participation in Movember to help raise awareness and money for men's health issues!  Since we started doing this in 2015, we've raised over $4,500!!!

With the idea of getting the forum involved, I reached out to all of the merchants on the forum to see if they'd donate some shaving supplies that will be broken up into several different lots and offered up to whoever agrees to donate the most money for each given lot.  We're going to do 4 lots for Movember, plus one for the best mustache, with each new lot starting on a Sunday, in a new thread.  So far we've had several merchants agree to donate shaving supplies to help raise money.

In addition to doing the lots like we always do, we've decided to change it up some this year and team up with Mohammad (GroomingDept) of Grooming Dept to produce a shaving soap that'll be available for purchase in late October/early November. A portion of the money from the soaps sold will be donated directly to our DFS Movember team page as well as a smaller percentage being donated to TJ's Travel Funds & Care Packages to help kids and families with leukodystrophy.

Here's the soap info from the DFS Movember soap Mohammad is making for us!

Lusso+Jersey-milk. The milk comes from an organic farm near me, Saint Benoît Creamery.

The scent notes: Bergamot, mandarin, galbanum, peach, gardenia. lily of the valley, hyacinth, rose, jasmine, iris root, patchouli, oakmoss, amber and sandalwood.

once I get all of the donated items from the merchants, I'll split them into 4 lots and post the lots in the contest forum section. each lot will run for a week. whoever agrees to pay the most for that particular lot, will win everything within the box.

Douglas sent over his Doppelgänger Black Label (homage to Sauvage) soap and aftershave, which smells awesome!

Black Tie sent over 4 soaps and aftershaves - my favorite scent from the stuff they sent over is casino royale and el hefe.
