I have ordered quite a few Shavemac brushes from Bernd and have never had any issues with shipping/customs etc. I recently ordered several new brushes from him and tracking went from showing a delivery date of June 19 to “PENDING”. The brushes have been in Memphis since then with zero information posted as to what the hold up is.

Has anyone else ever had this issue or can I chalk this up to COVID-19 again?

I would imagine it being due to COVID and working through a backlog if you have never really had the problem before. It’s funny as I usually get a delay, but never longer than 5 days. Mine are usually up in New York however if I recall correctly.

In general ALL shipping am familiar with has been significantly delayed over the past two weeks. Enquired of regional USPS and UPS HQ acquaintances with both stating their organizations experiencing increasing COVID absenteeism. Whether there is also issue with customs or they impacted by delivery organizations staffing issues hard to state.

I have shipped a few brushes internationally lately and there has definitely been some delays. A few have even showed as ''delivered" and had customers inquire about them only to actually show up a few days later.

Bernd with Shavemac actually confirmed all the paperwork was in order and Memphis/Fedex having a backlog with customs.

I placed an order for some brush parts that were shipped from Hong Kong on 22 May. No sign of them yet, but I told myself when ordering that even 8 weeks would probably be normal. If it lasts past that, I may start to wonder a bit.

When I’ve ordered something from Bernd (Shavemac), it has usually arrived here in western U.S. within 2–3 weeks, but that was before the pandemic.
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

I ordered a knot from Oumo on 4/17 and still haven’t received it yet. I got a refund.

To give an update on a recent order from the United Kingdom. It shipped on the 25th, and arrived today on June 6th. Looks to have come via air as it went from Langley HWDC on the 26th, and then was processed through ISC Miami, FL on the 29th, and then arrived in Tulsa, OK distribution on the 3rd, went out on the 4th, and then got here after a quick stop in Seattle to it's final destination.

Hope others will get their orders soon!
