Good day all. I know it has been a long time since I have posted anything. I have been terribly busy. Have three jobs now, yay me!

So, my birthday is in August and I always buy myself a little something. I am looking for a custom brush handle maker that can put my beloved Plisson knot into a black handle with a dark blue line through it. Like a ribbon line. Being in law enforcement it would be a Thin Blue Line type handle. Any suggestions for a manufacturer?

Thank you all.

Depending on the material you're looking for, Nathan Clark of EnvyShave and Peter Wolf of Wolf Whiskers are the first two that come to my mind.

I would add Doug Korn [55dougie]. Doug also does great work and is a pleasure to deal with...

Nice idea and a great birthday treat- look forward to seeing how it turns out.

I'm also curious to see what you decide and how it comes out. I'm eyeballing a 28mm Synthetic from Chiseled Face as my treat for surviving the 2016 restraint, and I'll need a handle to set it in.

Found this shot of the two D Korn brushes that I have for reference. One a synthetic and one a TGN badger.

Both remarkable brushes and were great fun to collaborate on with Doug.

This is Nathan Clark.... I get a lot of customers that want to treat themselves for their birthday.  A custom shaving brush is a great way to do that. I do a lot of sports team themed brushes when people buy gifts for themselves, but I have had a couple requests for thin blue line shaving brushes!

Looking through my photos. I can't seem to find one at the moment. I'll post one later if I stubble across one.  I know one I made was like this one, but was all black on top and the middle band was  one thin blue line.  Lot's of options though for shape. I've got a few other ideas worth trying, like a diagonal line on a stubby brush.  I hope you are able to get exactly what you are dreaming of. Good news is, you have lots of time.

Peter from Wolfwhisker is Great to work with. Lots of options and easy to communicate with.

I'm sure all the above are wonderful artisans, just haven't work with them yet.

Thanks guys. I also know from semi-frequent phone calls with Peter that he is a great guy to deal with and also shares my enthusiasm and passion for the craft.
