Lavish is the best lavender scented soap I have experienced. Citron is fresh and green. It reminds me of another of my favorite soap scents...T&S rainforest.

Citron may be the one I have to try, if it is anything like T&S Rainforest.

I plan to use it today. I am interested to see how the scent evolves upon lathering. But out of the tub it reminds me a lot of rainforest.

The scent of citron definitely develops upon lathering. As the name suggests, it is citrus forward. But it is tamed with a little earthiness...vetiver? It still reminds me of T&S rainforest but by no means is it a clone. It is a unique scent on its own merit.

Oh yes...the lather. It is a VERY thirsty soap. But the quality of the lather is top tier. Very slick. Plenty of cushion. Great post shave.

I am probably the last person you want writing a review. I do not have a very sophisticated sniffer and my writing is to the point.

Tropicos has the same great lather characteristics as the other CRSW premium line soaps. As the name implies, the scent is tropical. I get a lot of tropical fruit and flowers. I like the scent but wish it was stronger.

A little confused... is the new Premium soap base white lid line now gone?...and those scents now part of the previous Select line base now all with black lids?

No, the Premium base is the same, it just took on the "Select" name. All of the old Select scents are being changed over to the Premium base, but all scents are being called Select. Oliva and Original soaps will remain unchanged.

I just wish the white lids would have been kept and the black used for Oliva and Original. Just a personal thing obviously but loved the look of the white label. Ohhhhhh, that's what they should have been called.... White Label!!!!

The premium line was supposed to be EO only. Now that the premium line is no longer called the premium line but uses the premium base and is now called select...is it still EO only?

It's no longer EO only. E.g. Bergamot & Bay is a mix of EO and FO - https://www.coldriversoapworks.com/store...6_Bay.html

Personally, I like the convergence of the premier and select lines into one soap base with many scent options.

The CRSW I've tried has all been quality stuff so these changes don't bother me any. But to say they've made the last couple of months a bit confusing for the consumer is an understatement. In hind sight just saying "hey we've upgraded our select base and added a few new scents" would have worked just fine. But no biggie it's just soap
