I'm not upset, things come and go. I did miss the spiced Amber, but oh well. Though this idea about every generation is "new and improved," (and I don't actually mean CRSW specifically) isn't always convincing. Though the move to essential oils could wind up being a very good one. I'm looking forward to hearing done reviews. Right now, none of the scent profiles really jump out at me, but I'm sure I'll try v3.0 at some point.

I ordered a tub of the CRSW Lavish. It should be here Monday. This scent was intriguing to me, but the rest of the current line doesn't really appeal to me. I guess I'll see what Lavish is like when it gets here.

Yes, please post some thoughts once you have a chance to spend some time trying it out.

Sure! I will try to remember to post back to this thread.

I'm curious about the scent strength myself. My skin can be a little sensitive to too much fragrance(FO or EO), so I'm hoping it's a happy medium. Once I'm beyond that and there's no irritation, performance is the most important thing. How much better performance can we expect from each new base?

CRSW Lavish is now sold out on the CRSW website. Maybe I'm not the only one who was intrigued by this scent?

Citron and Lavish are the only two I was considering. By the way, I spent $190 on CRSW (not half off) just before Christmas. Wish I would have known about the change but I'm still happy to have gotten citrus backups and other goodies. Maybe I need to buy another before it's unobtainable.

By the way, one thing I never liked about CRSW was their scents seem weak to me. B&m is my other go to and his scents seem much easier to smell when lathering. I wonder how strong these new soaps will be.

I'm sure not...But I guess we'll see how many CRSW soaps end up on the BST forum in the next 2 weeks. Performance I'm not worried about, but things like cedar, cypress, vetiver, juniper, etc tends to be love or hate, at least in my experience.

I never got a chance to try the old formula, but heard good things. Curious to see reviews on the new formula!

I noticed that all the scents I tried were weak as well. I've moved on to other soap brands since then and have not gone back especially after their version 2. I still prefer B and M glissant and Mikes.

Another great case of YMMV

This might be the reason my CRSW soaps aren't going to BST. I wish B&M soaps were like CRSW in terms of scent strength!!

This is also the reason I keep the lid open for all my stirling soaps - to tame the scent.
