That's just wrong. No wonder they were dumping stuff the last month or two on sale. OK, its not "wrong" in the sense that its always good to improve your products but it seem like they just came out with V2.0 or whatever its called and another line with olive oil. And now its gone too?

I got nothing against improved products. Thats good. But its kind of like operating systems. I just get the last one working right and they want me to update to the next OS? Hmm, no.

Finally, a proper software analogy.

If you're looking for a long term relationship, they may not be your vendor. But, for a hot one night stand?

Ok, the software analogy was better Smile

Sure has been an emotional topic all over the community.
New soaps look great though.

Onwards & upwards!

Emotional, indeed. They push ahead with innovation faster than I can (or want to) keep up with. Ironically, I make my living off of new software releases as a programmer. But I use this hobby as a refuge from all of that, which is becoming increasingly more difficult. Oh well, the CRSW products I did try were high quality and I wish them the best with the new release.

Yeah tell me about it the software release. We haven't released 16.11 yet, still answering questions like why isn't 17.1 done?

Two questions for you:

Do you also feel tilted when someone refers soap/cream as software?

What kind of software you develop?

I am in EDA software development, btw.

Ha I know what you mean. Very hard to get away from tech these days. But in truth the terminology doesn't bother me..it does make sense.
Mostly Java development in the BPA and bid-data spaces.

Their website looks better, the last one being sort of difficult to deal with. However, cranking out new stuff at a rapid pace means consumers stuck with "the old stuff". Who wants old stuff?

Look at the highly regarded, elite products that have been around for decades. They "might" continually improve the products but they don't broadcast it with new containers. Its done subtly. This is more "in your face" and can be disconcerting to those who just bought a boatload of product only to find out .... WAIT - you know what you just bought for Christmas? Guess what? Here is the New and Improved Stuff.

That just doesn't sit well. Now compare that to say the latest update to C&S products. You don't know when C&S last improved their products? Hmm. That's just an example. Don't expect everyone to jump in glee.

I am actually happy that they did the clean-up sale, and part of me knew something of that sort was coming. I snatched a few during the sale, missed a few as well - Olivia Rose for example. I think SELECT V2 is an excellent product - so getting those at half price was nice. And I expect the improvements to be incremental now - so not feeling that bad thinking I have a much inferior product.

I am hoping they will bring a Rose scented soap which I will buy for sure. The new website looks nice, containers are nice too even though I love the metal ones. Spray pump is a nice feature.

Not at all. Some guys seem pretty pissed! Of course it was coming with the December sale. I had a strong feeling. From Classic to V1, V2, Olivia & now this. Keeps getting better & better.

I love it!
