Craft beers

Great Lakes has some very nice ones, if you are into IPA Rye of the Tiger is good and their Chill Wave is amazing.
Thirsty Dog has some good ones too as well as Fat Heads. All three of these breweries are in the Akron/Cleveland area and Great Lakes and Fat Heads both have pretty good restaurants as well. Also I've heard but have not yet been able to go to R.Shea Brewery in The Valley in Akron area is supposed to have some good in house brews.

Enjoyed a Great Lakes Chillwave at Thurman's Cafe in Columbus last week.  Great bar, good beer!

Market Garden Brewery on Cleveland ' s west side has 8 or 10 great beers.

I'm not a huge fan of IPA, but made the trip....

Best IPAs I've had, but just not my thing. I'm almost ashamed to admit it.

The Oregon Brewers Festival is one of the nation's longest running and best loved craft beer festivals. Situated on the west bank of the Willamette River, with towering Mt. Hood as a backdrop, it is the ideal venue for anyone who loves craft beer. With a laid back attitude and scores of award-winning beers, the festival reflects the essence of the city of Portland, aka Brewvana. Approximately 80,000 beer lovers annual visit during the five-day event.

The Oregon Brewers Festival exists to provide an opportunity to sample and learn about more than 20 craft beer styles. There will be 111 independent craft beers available this year: 88 from craft breweries from all over the U.S.; and 23 more in the International Beer Garden featuring beers and brewers from Japan, China, Germany and the Netherlands.

I love the two above. The beers from Hill Farmstead might be even better.
