I've heard of people taking Ivomec.     ( name brand)  wormer from the vet, for covid. Neighbor farmers thought it helped them through Covid.
I've wormed cattle with the. Ivomec pour on and injection to, it made those dairy cows look healthy with bright colors.

Ivomec has landed some DIYers in the hospital too.  Be careful everyone.  Remember your doc can prescribe for you and we don’t weight as much as a horse or cow.  I’m an old farm kid so you can bet I asked questions.  Guess my bott fly infestation is just about over.

Lip, great to hear you are on the mend. Keep getting outside and absorbing that sun [understand vit D very helpful].

My wife's family [all 6 immediate members including her 92 year old dad] had been vaccinated and all came down with delta. You were like her dad - recovered quickly. The remainder suffered but got the monoclinal antibodies, steroids, and Ivermectine - & then very quickly recovered. My eldest son came down with c19 one week after vaccination and took about a month to get back to normal.

My team [15 petroleum engineers] here in Dallas were exposed to our clients from Petrochina in November of 2019. Two were from the region near Wuhan. All of us ended up getting sick within 3 days. Half ended up with bronchitis and double pneumonia. I suffered with 103 fever for 3 days and really couldn't keep food down for about 5. Never felt worse, but we all slowly got better. We all assumed it was the usual 'bad' flu from foreign visitors. It was covid. I got Pfizer in March of 2020. Most of our employees are vaccinated and about 33% have been reinfected. We have since gone back to 100% WFH.

I am certain the planet is going to have to live and cope with this henceforth. This is not going away, and the vaccines are certainly therapeutic. Statistics and the science on their lack of prevention is incontrovertible, however.

Stay healthy boys.

Glad you're on the mend, Lipripper.  I've had friends get sick (before the vaccine was available or before the shots became potent in them) and thank goodness they all bounced back.  I have canceled flights to visit a friend in Buffalo and my sister in Florida.  It's been tough as I haven't seen my sister in more than a year and a half but the risk is just not worth it.  My second shot was long enough ago (February) that I should be eligible for a booster when it becomes available.  I keep hoping the Delta variant will begin to wane and more folks will be less resistant to the idea of getting the vaccine and maybe we can beat this.

Again, I'm really glad you're improving.

I was scheduled to be in Dallas the first of the week but the conference cancelled due to Covid spikes.  I couldn’t have travelled then anyway but can attend virtually so it worked out.

Good to hear you had it and are recovering. Once recovered you have 27x better protection than any jab according to the Israelis. Unless you take another jab which undoes your natural immunity. But you decide what is right for you.

I had it 19 months ago before anyone knew what it was. 2 comorbidities and I survived. It was in Feb' before it was common knowledge that covid was even a thing.

I'm surprised Ivermectin was Rx'ed. It's fantastic for the illness, but few Drs will Rx it. Good for you that he did! FWIW, yes, it's used for animals, but many of our medications are. We're OK as long as we don't take a dose required for a 2000# bull. It's one of the safest medications ever made when dosed correctly.

Do you have a site I can study they Israeli report?  A report from a nation with the highest per capita doctors ought to be read I’d think.  Don’t want to go backwards in protection.  And thanks for your kind words.  Feeling pretty good today.  Feels like the tail end of a cold.  That said, smell and taste TOTALLY left today.  Seems a small price compared to others who have not survived.

Regarding vaccine AFTER infection

Regarding Israeli study the commonly sited Instagram post misinformed readers.

My 2 cents. My profession prohibits me from dispensing ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and azithromycin without documentation to insure it is being prescribed correctly. The consequences to the health of the patient and to my license are not worth the risk.

The prescriptions I have seen have all (both of them, just 2) been dubious. Patient from FL, doctor from SD. This triggers a warning light to flash, while a voice comes over the line, "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!"

And we need to tread lightly as we are close to going over the line of the Terms of Use for DFS. So I will not be posting any more in this thread. If I have gone too far, will a Moderator PM me and I will accept their judgment. I respect our fine community too much to start a fight. That is not my intention. I am trying only to show what the Internet has, and, unfortunately, like the Scriptures, it can be twisted to support my opinions.
