Great post. Please let us know how these compare. I'm using some leftover clear plastic jars from SdP and B&M, which are adequate. These look a little nicer though.

Those jars look somewhat like those that hold aroma melts.

These are from the Candle Store.

The company is Candle-Lite ™.

The parkways are probably really nice too. Just received some of CRSW's premium soaps, and love the new jars.

Got maggard's jars today, and they are beautiful. Much heavier than I was expecting. Great stuff!

Yes, well built! I love Mike's and many other artisans but the new Parkway jars CRSW are now using are the only one's I really like. Mike's tins are pretty thin and not air tight.

Transferring Mike's or Mystic into the great Colt/Ainer containers is a quick & fun project. Fits beautifully.

What other sites can someone buy these Colt jars besides Maggards? I have a couple and I think they are the highest quality jars I have come across by far.

Marcos, the reason I started this thread on these particular jars, which in itself might be a bit odd, was to get the word out! When I happened upon one I knew they were special. The thin height, sturdy construction and high quality plastic and threads were the finest I had found shaving related or not. I transfer all soaps into them. They stack and look great.

I've searched pretty hard and Maggards is it. You can get on their email notification list.

Another option would be to contact Colts Plastics directly in Dayville, CT. Maybe they would mail a half dozen or so. Worth a try. Smile

Are there anyway to transfer the Mike's Sticker over.... Mike don't really reply email these days, so it is a risk for me just to buy 5 tins (I don't mind paying tin price for the sticker), and he might just slap the sticker on the lid itself.

Blow dryer on high for a few minutes. Great way to loosen labels.
Then gently peel the labels and affix to the Colt lids. Works great.

Sounds like a good idea, I'll be trying on some of the soaps that I am not using before trying on Mikes! Thanks
