I see, I didn't know that (about China that is).

It's going to be a popular razor due to the incredible shaves offered by the AC General. Once the newness wears off & the folks who must have it regardless of cost, the price point is going to be important to continue generating sales. I hope it's a great razor at a fair price. My brass General is a wonderful razor, I hope their de razor is as good.

I have shaved with a brass general and it is a very good razor. I hope the de is as good or better. I might have to get one after they are out for a while.

i have the aluminum and brass general single edge razors and like the weight of the aluminum the best, both shave well with a sharp blade, no cuts or weepers. been looking forward for colonial to make a double edger razor. hope the stainless steel is not too heavy and the price point between $125 and $175.

Well, preorder begins this Sunday, the 16th with a projected delivery date of August. The Silversmith Looks ok but, I’d really like to see their Brass General V2 come to fruition. I’m going to pass on this and wait for their 2nd gen. General to come up, hopefully soon...

I would really like to see some impressions from someone that has actually shaved with it first. I don’t want another DE razor that ends up being too mild. They have listed this as a 5 out of 10 on the aggression scale. I have all 3 generals that were released and absolutely love them but I also have a ton of high end DE razors. Need more info and usage reviews before I “preorder” this one.

With as fast as their SE razors sold I am surprised that the preorder is still available
