Col Conk soap -- a pleasant surprise

I am a long time wet shaver and today was my first use of a Col Conk shaving soap. I rubbed the puck on my face as if a stick. The results, for me, were as good as any other plain glycerin-based shaving soap -- of which I have tried several. Given the very affordable price point, I was pleasantly surprised. I will use it again. Have others tried it? What was the experience?

I used Colonel Conk almond some time ago and liked it. Since I have other almond soaps, I haven’t bothered to order more Colonel Conk soap after I finished that puck. I would try it again if I could find a scent that I like and is not covered by one of my other soaps or creams.

Never have tried it. Always wondered. At that price, I have no excuses.
