Hi

What is your coffee maker of choice ?

I use a Capresso Manuals Coffee Maker ULTIMA 121 .... They are not sold anymore in the USA as typical user in the USA does not like to clean the machine and they then fail... and they call the manufacture to complain ... At lest they is what they told me when I called for support.... they will continue to support the machine but they stop selling them in North America

anyone ?

Bonavita 8-Cup Coffee Maker with Stainless Steel Carafe but it is junky. When It dies I will get either a Technivorm Moccamaster KBGT741 or a Breville Precision Brewer BDC450BSS .

For a leisure Saturday I have a Frieling Insulated Coffee Maker French Press in Polished Stainless Steel.

When I drink coffee (rarely) I make sous vide coffee. It's the best I've ever had but takes an hour+ to make.

The last time I made a cup was after a friend from PR sent me some. Good coffee!

I usually do the Hario V60 pour over technique or a Techni-Vorm brewer.

Here's the technique I use from Sweet Marias

I don't drink coffee. Love the smell but hate the taste. Despite that, making the coffee is one of my chores.
During the week I use a one cup drip machine. Quick and makes hot coffee destined for a travel mug. Hot is the key criteria.

On the weekends I use a French press. My wife says she can tell the difference and the french press is much smoother.

I have a 15 year old Technivorm KBTS 8-Cup Polished Silver (thermal carafe). Probably made 7,500 pots of coffee - still going strong. I do use the Umex coffee cleaners (probably 2 times annually) and did spend $20 to replace the basket after 14 years. Nice compromise between convenience and really great coffee.
