I have tried several modern tobacco shaving soaps, and all of them were good. However, I generally prefer classic tallow or triple-milled soaps (e.g. Floris, Penhaligon's, Trumper, etc.) over modern soaps. Does anyone know of any of the old classic soaps that had a prominent tobacco note?

I might also be interested in a classic tobacco shaving cream.

While I’m sorry I can’t help with OP’s question, if anybody brought to this thread has extensive tobacco scent experience, have you come across a shave scent which smells like the 18.21 man made sweet tobacco scent? I love that one…

It's not tallow, but if you really want to smell tobacco. El Jefe. You can try for 30 days and not get stuck.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have veered off into getting tobacco creams for the moment. I picked up a TOBS Tobacco Leaf cream, and Frank at Ethos Grooming is making me a tallow tobacco cream too.

I know I posted it in another thread (to someone else), but didn't get a reply, so I'll ask you ...

How's the TOBS? Is it a mix of straight tobacco leaf? Sweet?

Thanks.

I haven't used it yet, but in the jar it smells quite sweet. From its label I presume that it is just the leaf scent.

Wow, man. Tbh, I’ve never heard of tobacco soap and creams. Could you tell us more about it? I’d be really grateful if you described the pros and cons of it. That would help me so much, man. I’m really curious about it. I think I should also ask my friend from OrganicCBDNugs about it. He has a gorgeous beard, so he must know what tobacco soap is. Truth be told, I've never seen a man who'd have a better beard than my bro. Anyway, I’ll still be waiting for your replies, folks. Thanks in advance for your explanations. Best wishes.

I discuss tobacco fragrance in post #107 on this page: https://damnfineshave.com/thread-fragran...#pid349136
And you can easily find posts about favorite tobacco products by doing a quick search for threads with tobacco in the title.

I started a thread on people's favourite tobacco scented soaps and aftershaves a couple of years ago.  Here's the link if you're interested.  Lots of useful suggestions.

By now you've likely tried the ToBS Tobacco Leaf. I have and find it heavy on the cedar and light in the Tobacco. You?
