I have been looking for a Classic Cobra in a good condition for a while now. Have been missing out on the ones which have come up for sale. Will appreciate if you have one you would like to sell or trade for vintage razors.
I am in the UK but have an an address in the US where the razor can be posted to.

Thanks

Good luck. It's a great razor.

Are they discontinued?

My understanding is that they are no longer being made. It was a joint venture between Classic Shaving and a gun manufacturer that would manufacture the razors. They were hard to get before as the manufacturer would have to shut down the gun making operation and manufacturer razors for a short time every now and then. So getting one was a matter of getting the email that they were in stock and acting very quickly to purchase one. If you hesitated you missed it as the stock always sold out very quickly.

From what I've been told that partnership has run it's course. Since both are partners (and owners) in the venture it makes it extremely difficult to source another manufacturer or find another way to get them made without both parties being in agreement.

So the only current option if you want a Cobra razor is to find a used one. Same deal with the King Cobra razor.

I recently contacted Classic Shaving to ask about repairing a broken Cobra Classic, I was told that they were expecting a new shipment after the holidays.
This is a delayed shipment so that could mean they will have them in stock within the next month, months or year.

Cool, it seems that they may have worked out their differences then.

Maybe, they seem to have something worked out.
I will believe it when they actually release a new batch and have the parts to fix mine.
They are great razors though.

I have now got one in excellent condition from Lestorfreemon, it was a pleasure to deal with him. Please archive.
