Atop the Razor's Edge
Southern California
Chiseled Face has just listed these for sale: Titanium Legacy Razor - Raw Finish, in both their pineapple twist and herringbone handle for $199. There are ten listed (four of the pineapple twist and six of the herringbone) and they are numbered. You can choose a number, if it is not already sold.

These razors do not include the case.

A great deal. I only wish they were more aggressive. I sold mine because it was just too mild.

Too bad he didn't include the imperial handle for the raw finish, otherwise I would have bought one.

7 more were released for sale today with the pineapple twist handle at $199 each. If you like a titanium razor with a machined finish and not too aggressive this is for you. They are all numbered starting at 84. This is a fantastic deal.

Agree 100%. It really is a great razor. Every razor doesn't have to feel like it's peeling off a layer of skin to be efficient enough to provide a BBS shave. This is one of those mild feeling, but effective razors as long as you get the angle dialed in.

I must have overlooked the handle options before. I saw the Pineapple one and it was more meh, then I saw herringbone and thinking, okay that's nicer, and then I saw Imperial. Now I like the looks of that handle!

Edit: I see now that there wasn't the 2nd and 3rd options available when I first saw it.

I believe there were plenty of Titanium Legacy Razor - Raw Finish razors in Pineapple previously, but now there are more Heavy Herringbone razors in stock now. 9 to be precise. 91-99 serial numbers. A few additions on the Pineapple I believe. Does anyone know if he plans to add the Imperial soon? I would think so, as it would seem strange to not do so, but maybe there is something I'm unaware of like the Imperial being harder to machine and easier to concentrate on the Pineapple and Herringbone first.

I emailed him asking about the imperial handle. He mentioned that it takes twice as long to produce them over the 2 other designs, so doesn't look like it. I suggested if that was the case then maybe he could price it accordingly to $250. He did not reply after that, so gather what you will.

I got a confirmation on Facebook that the Imperial handle won't get this treatment of a raw finish for less money.

Yeah, according to Ron that one takes a lot more time to machine.
