Cheap badger brush help

So i have a few synthetics i really love the omega S10019, S10065, the razorock monster, and big bruce. As well as a boar hair omega 10019.

Now I'm looki g for a good but inexpensive badger brush. Preferably in the under $25 range USD. I KNOW, I KNOW! I'm asking for a lot... But i just want a badger brush that i can use and will give me the feel of how a badger brush should perform, lather etc. Then if i like it i may invest in a better quality finest, best, or silvertip grade brush.

Right now I'm looking at parker brushes as they seem reasonably priced for badgers but any recommendations will be appreciated.

Keep in mind that a badger is going to be different than a synthetic or a boar, you need use it a few times to get the optimal soap/water combination. Then there is also the funky fur smell for the first few uses.

I've gotten used to using a synthetic and the HMW badger that I had sitting around since Nov 2015 and never used was finally put into action and I've had to adjust a little to get the lather just right. The Stirling two-band badgers are remarkable brushes for the price.

If you are honestly trying to stay at under $25, the Razorock brushes (rebranded Zenith) are good, and though I haven't tried it, I am sure the Maggard is a fine brush. Just please don't buy a cheap pure from Amazon or some such, and expect that you are getting any kind of representation of what a badger should feel like. If you can scrape up a few more dollars, I would go past Whipped Dog and get one of the Stirling finests. They are truly excellent brushes, and perform like much more expensive knots.

Another vote for the Stirling Finest badgers. I have the 24mm ivory and the 24mm fan in butterscotch and both are simply fantastic brushes.

I also have a Zenith best badger in kotibe handle that is an incredible brush.

In my humble opinion, you simply can;t beat these 3 brushes at the $40 price point. They all perform WELL above their cost...

My first brush and daily use for 3 years. Until educated, I cleaned with copious amounts of scalding hot water and started to shed a few hairs once a week. Thinking of selling.

It has already been stated, but Larry at whipped dog is about the best deal on any badger brush you might like. I have several of his, including an older brush handle that he fitted with a brand new knot.

You cannot do better than dealing with Larry, he is a real gentleman and truly interested in what you might need. A real pillar in the shaving community.

I have one that I had him sink the knot 10 mm deeper in the handle, resulted in a beaver brush that is great for making lather in almost any soap with any water. It is my go to brush now.
You said about 25 bucks, but for just a bit more (35 to 40 ) you can have one of the best made. I would not trade my WD for a Simpsons
