hawns , when can we expect to see the Fougere going up on your website? Will it be in toner, salve and aftershave?

I also expect to see your glowing accounts of your home town on the thread I started this morning on what you love about where you live - you've based a business on it!

Marko No ETA yet on the TSM Fougère, but it will probably be towards the end of summer. I probably need to go into fortification mode after the Colbeck release to get all my ducks in a row, then I'll start foraging into unknown territories again. It will, however, most certainly be in the triumvirate of products.

And I was actually about to post earlier about STL, as you probably aren't surprised, but I didn't have time to do the city justice. I need to track down photos of some of my favorite spots, considering each is worth 1,000 words, that means WAY less typing for me. Also, I'm so wishy washy that I'll probably spend longer than I'd like to admit narrowing it down to my very favorites.

I knew you would be up to singing the praises of your home town and by all means take as long as you want to prepare your what I expect to be awesome post.

Marko I just meant the three products that rule our line, the aftershave, toner and salve, but in rereading, that makes no sense at all. If that's the case, then their rule's only subject is the pre-shave.

Oh yeah, that's something I've kind of dropped hints at on social media, but the whole story is this: The Shave Market on Facebook wanted me to do a custom scent for them and, after a vote, a fougère scent was a winner, which I was happy about, because I really wanted to make a fougère, but the ingredient cost was prohibitive since the ingredients are so expensive. But if I could sell in a big volume at all once, then economies of scale, blah blah blah.

Fast forward a few months and people outside the group start finding out about it and getting samples and the demand was building. Because many people don't use Facebook, I was trying to circumvent it for a few people, then that number kept growing. With the blessing of the leaders of TSM, I'm going to follow in the footsteps of Catie's Bubbles Le Marche du Rasage and put a TSM custom into the permanent line up.

Not sure when it'll happen for sure. Going to work on a schedule after I get caught up after Colbeck is released, but I'm really excited to get this in my line up. The downside is that it may have to cost a few more dollars to make up for all the expensive stuff I put in there. I was in a decadent mood when designing it, it seems. @"uncle_dubya" described the best, and I'm paraphrasing, that while most fougères smell like decay and in a forest, this smells alive, verdant and green. The notes are oakmoss, incense, tonka bean, lavender, vetiver, neroli, nagarmotha, petitgrain, Spanish moss, violet, violet leaf, clary sage, freshly cut grass, musk, bergamot, cedarwood, grapefruit and just a very small touch of anise.

More information will be coming in July, however.

I'm glad TSM blessed your plans for general release of the Fougere. amazing notes lineup. Funny comment about decay - I do pick that up on some other fougeres and I've wondered if there was something wrong with my nose. I guess not.

Thanks, and now that name makes sense! I remember looking at it and enjoying it. I loved the Kahns, in real history and even when Genghis was on Bill and Ted's Excellent Aventure

Also, I enjoy the decay notes quite a bit in a lot of scents, but the goal was certainly to do something different yet somewhat familiar. There is a sweetness in rotting wood and plants that I've always loved, however.
