Ah yes, life does have a way doesn't it?  You're either overworked or out of work and, from the eye of the storm, its never clear which is worse.  I've always figured having income or a reliable revenue stream is probably better than pushing a shopping cart and picking bottles...  assuming you retain your sanity that is.   If we start seeing some really out there, off the wall scents coming out of Chatillon Lux we'll just assume you've lost your mind.  Who knows?  It might be your most creative period.

And what makes you think I haven't already lost my mind :p

The good news is that I really like the clients who are keeping us so busy. And the worst of will be over by the end of the day Saturday in time to have a drink, sleep like a rock, then enjoy a Sunday of getting all caught up. By Sunday night I'm predicting the world will be in order, so no worries!

And like you said, being busy is a true blessing. I've been unemployed for months on end. Between the two, I'll take this 10/10 times!

Well, you said it not me Its been said their's a fine line between genius and madness but either state seems just fine for creativity.

I have been working out some details for the upcoming Chatillon Lux releases. Unfortunately, due to me getting behind lately with the business and with life, I'm going to have to make some changes to the upcoming schedule and push things back a hair. Here's how it's going to go down.

Blackberry Blossom Bay (bay, neroli, blackberry, sandalwood, coriander, vanilla bean, tonka bean, benzoin and cinnamon)

• There will still be a soap (by L&L Grooming) and also the usual suspects from Chatillon Lux (salve, toner and aftershave)
  All products will be sold through ChatillonLux.com only
  To combat the fact that selling all these products is a bigger undertaking than I have any right to do at the moment with my schedule, I will run a pre-sale from March 7-14 to try to help me get in front of the curve
  There will be a $5 discount if you buy a soap and post-shave product set.
  After the pre-sale, when orders start to ship, there will be a very limited quantity released for sale. But when it's out, it's out.
  
  

Colonia Balsamica - April 7 (lemon, lavender, spanish moss, vetiver, amber, jasmine, rosemary, freshly cut grass, basil, ginver, musk, grapefruit)

  • I want to make sure these are right, and there's still more work to be done. Rather than rush things and have my deadline be what determines that I'm finished before I'm ready, I just need to give myself a bit more cushion.

Santal Auster - May 5

The mystery release must be pushed back, but it will be Santal Auster, a creamy, silky smooth sandalwood accord that I created a little while back that was popular enough with testers to make it to a limited-edition release, part of the series of simple scents I'm doing (Pure Lavender is coming late in the year)

Thanks for your patience. Growing pains mixed with a bunch of real life stuff gave me a choice of sticking with the schedule or making sure I could do things the right way, so I took the latter option.

I was good with T+S because I always got my soap first Also, T+S soap is really good and I'm always looking for an excuse to get another one. L&L is really good too, its just that I have more of them than T+S and I need balance. Yin Yang

Totally understandable, but the whole idea of a pre-order is so daunting that I want to ensure that there are as few variables as possible to delay the time frame between paying for a product and making the product. As you know, international shipping can sometimes take forever.

I'm all about the path of least resistance.
