Regarding the nature of copper it is much softer and easier to machine then 316L and Titanium. It's likely what you are experiencing in the knurling, as copper being the softest (then 316L, then Titanium), it does have the sharpest knurling...I think it is fair to say the softer the material, the sharper the knurling.

We made the copper and brass handles for a few limited edition pieces that we offered (Slantman you asked about these), the one on the left has the copper handle with a mokume-gane head. Our Mokume-gane was forged by Vegas Forge here in the US, its carefully forged layers of copper and brass. Mokume-gane translated from Japanese to "wood grained metal", it was used as an ornament detail on Samarai swords...the patina below is a heat patina only. Sorry if you have heard this before...

I think a small run of copper would be cool, its cool to see the interest, I have an informal list of who would get the first onesSmile...personally I like splashes of copper (George1906, that copper/ handle is very nice), love Mokume-gane especially with silver, platinum, gold...

(TommyCarioca - sorry but we don't have any of the copper handles available...we did a small run but will likely make a few more)

Sean, you already know I want in on that list!

CarbonShavingCo. I'm sorry if this has been asked & answered, and I'm sincerely not digging at you in any way, but: why have you opted to machine threads using 10-32 instead of m5x0.8?

I only ask because I really like the aesthetic of some of your handles, and I'm interested in using them on other heads that are threaded m5x0.8. I get that this type of sale is not a priority for you, but I am still curious.

Short review 2 pass WTG,  XTG and touchup under jawline was a smooth BBS. For me the ++ baseplate has the same blade feel as the regular plate but is one giant step up in efficiency so I think guys who like some blade feel but wanted more efficiency this is the baseplate to get. I really enjoyed the shave tonight

When you think you will make some more copper ones? I’d love one.
