This was as fun as I expected, the Fatip Mk1 having even greater cap span and exposure than the Carbon. Treet Platinum proved a fine match with both razors, not unexpectedly the Carbon is smoother, the Fatip more bladey and requiring a lighter touch. Efficiency very close, the Fatip had a bit of an easier time with stubble on the back of my head, where the Carbon was less tuggy ATG on the mustache area. Both really fun razors and a great shave.[Image: 60ce43125b245c690f1e0ba0288e0352.jpg]

Vs Lupo. Astra SS.

I thought this would be a closer match but while the Lupo is smooth and competent it sure ain't no fun. The Carbon truly is and this shave with the Astra SS was most enjoyable yet. Love the feedback and efficiency. I can say if there was a reasonable head only option I'd buy one.

jmudrick thanks for the great reviews and pictures. I would also buy one if there was a reasonable head only option. I found the lightweight Tibam handle that I used was perfect for the Carbon head. The Carbon Ti handle looks interesting, but why pay for something you do not need.

How does the Carbon compare (Blade feel, efficiency and smoothness) to the Paradigm Ti II, Game Changer 0.84 or the ATT S2?

MUCH more blade feel than the .84 GC, more efficient, less smooth.
