Captain’s Choice Copper Lather Bowl

After using it now everyday I can say it is the best bowl I have ever used. I now have sold every bowl I had and given a few away.

They are nice bowls, I wish they had the heavier one in stock when I ordered mine.

I have a CC bowl as well. Great deal for sure.

Contemplating getting one of these although I am usually a face latherer.

I’ve got the heavier one. It’s really good. The lacquer is coming off the inside but that’s ok. The bare Cooper surface has a little more texture and makes lathering even easier. If I use it regularly I doubt it will oxidize significantly.

I’ve had mine since the original release and I use it daily. The lacquer has worn completely on the inside bottom but it still looks and works great.

So you're getting little bits of lacquer in your lathers? That doesn't sound good.

Not sure what the coating was but I’m not drinking the Lather and it has worn off slowly over the year or so I have had it. The coating on all blades wears off as you shave.

Shavemd I'm guessing polyeurethane. Mine has come off as well, though I don't really worry about it.
