The Thai Gillettes are what you rave about?  How do they compare vs the Nacets and also vs the Rubies?  Could you go into specifics re what you like/dislike/prefer about each?  That they are Thai explains a lot; haven’t been able to locate ChiComm Gillettes although sure they actually exist

FWIW I used a handful of the Thai blades I bought in Cambodia and was non-plussed. But then most every blade works ok for me.

Ive tried super nacets and there does not appear to be anything special about them.
They are sold at a premium even in the couple of Singapore B&M stores that mainly stock supplies for
asian migrant labour. A 100 pack of regular Nacets goes for about $10-$12 Singapore dollars, supernacets are
labelled almost double.....someone along the line is adding their cut to the final price.

They are imported by P&G Malaysia and made in china.

As I scrutinise everything made in china right now, unless there is 100% no alternative, they can go to hell.
I recently had to choose between 2 pairs of running shoes, one made in Vietnam and the other china , and I happily went with the former.

Seeing that I use high gap razors, I refer smoother sharp blades like Wizzies, Pols, Platinums, 7oclock greens etc anyway..

There is wisdom in that.

Recently ditched remainder of Proraso wares over their Chinese affiliation. In past years used Nikes and now the premium New Balance USA made shoes. There seems to be a match between those producing and associating with Chinese and mysanthropic outlook on life. World would be a far better place if all such were wiped away.

Perhaps Nacets are fine after all, maybe Gillette needs to be bouycotted too.  Truth told, am happy using Timors knowing labourers are making a living wage and Germany not trying to destroy Western Civilization.

Nonplussed an odd word literally come to be defined exactly opposite of its original usage.

As I understand it, the original usage was like perplexed, while used as unimpressed is an Americanism. I did intend to mean unimpressed. But now that you've brought the issue of the word to my attention I'll say unimpressed next time. Or perhaps read my comment as I'm perplexed people would find the blade exceptional.

That's a lot of questions and my answers would be entirely subjective. Asian countries (apart from China due to a sweetheart deal that U.S. taxpayers unkowingly fund) have very high import/export fees and tariffs that are meant to "funnel" all shipping to a select few companies who garner the contracts via political connections & bribes. Those cos. deal in bulk shipping such as shipping containers.

I forgot to ask about your "their being Thai explains a lot" comment, what does that mean exactly? I mean they're Chinese blades, the only thing Thai about them AFAIK is the writing on the package.
