I wish he would charge $40 at least once to lessen demand. Maybe that wouldn't even work. Oh well, not a huge fougere guy anyway.

Some of you must really enjoy his soaps if you are willing to go through so much trouble to get them.
Personally, I don't understand when there are SO MANY other great soaps, readily available.
However, YMMV. Shy

This is the last time I will try for one of his soaps, far too many great soaps out there that are readily available.

Honestly to me it doesn't sound like that much effort, the only inconvenience was having to be on the website at exactly 1:00 pm PST. Other than that it took less than 30 seconds to find out that I had missed out. After that I moved on with my day.

I find much satisfaction in using SEVERAL wonderful, high performance soaps that are readily acquired.

I'm with you - set a reminder, start clicking a few minutes early and give it a shot.  3 minutes lost, no biggie there.  Would be great to try this soap, so seems worth the minimal effort to me.  Maybe my opinion will change after striking out a few more times  Smile

I bought the soap out of curiosity, who knows, I may not like it. Took 3-minutes of my day and yes, luck is involved. Maybe I'll use it a couple of times and then pass it on for other to try. I don't like buying blind and I'm sure most of you are the same. I'll post a review of it here.

Maybe one of the lucky buyers will sell it on BST for $40... The message to the vendor would be fairly clear.

I was lucky enough to get Fletcher the last time it was available and I haven't even used it yet, was trying to get Tishomingo as I've been on a Fougere kick lately so if anyone wants to swap.....

I have no problem that so few are available when they are made available from Bufflehead. It's become obvious that some individuals are able to put more time into soap making than others. A perfect example was Desmonds Barrow shutting down. That's s why it's nice that there are quality soaps all over the place. Next time Tishomingo is available IL try again if I have the time, if not I have plenty of other options.
