bst adjustments

hi all,

we've implemented a few changes to the bst section over the last 24 hours or so that I'll explain here.

the first change we made was that you have to check a box to acknowledge that you've read the bst rules before it'll allow you to submit your thread. we've had A LOT of people create threads in the bst section over the past few weeks who have apparently not read the rules before creating their thread...

you'll see the required check here:



the second change we made was that ALL new wolfman threads created in the bst section will automatically be locked as soon as the thread is submitted by the thread creator. we did this to keep the trolling to a minimal for these threads, which always seem to be problematic. the only people who can reply to a wolfman thread in the bst section are admins, mods and the thread creator. these same people should be able to edit their posts as well.

I like the red banner....or else some transgressor will take it as an invitation to complain about prices for
anything other than wolfman or BBs-1.

Nope, you're wrong on that.

This forum is still alive. The other you're talking about is almost dead.

There are lots of participants here and the mod team has done a great job. We all have to admit it.

I actually think this is the best forum, artisans can participate freely, the mods coordinate pass arounds, no ridiculous restrictions on how often you can post on the BST, Andrew is very active here, and much more.

DFS is in no way even remotely close to what TSN is like....

exactly.  Freddy and I both have in-depth & insider knowledge as to how TSN was ran as we both used to be on that team.
