Brushes similar to Muhle synthetic?

I’m finding myself heavily preferring my muhle silver tip fiber synthetic brush to all my badgers.  I’ve tried a few other synthetics which are nowhere near as good as my soft tip muhle. I also enjoy how nicely the muhle splays and gives off the lather. 


What other synthetics have similar characteristics to this brush?

From the 70+ synthetics I've used, I've settled on the STF. I find no other synthetic comes close to the performance, behavior and face feel. Absolutely superb!

(I have the chubby 2 and Evo on the way. Can't wait to compare them to the STF)

Just an update:

I used the evo and chubby 2 synthetic brushes and would like to report that neither can touch the STF knots!!

STF is still #1 in the synthetic arena in my experience.
I've sold all my other brushes and now use only STF brushes.

There is really nothing that is similar, or even close to Muehle other than a Muehle brush with their STF knot!!

Yep. Tried all the suggestions here and elsewhere spending a few hundred bucks for science. The PAA, ap shave co g5a, and EJ we’re all serviceable but in the end not as good. Ended up just getting all the various sizes of Muhle SFT. I’ll be selling all my high end badgers next as I stopped using them entirely.

Can these be bought as just the knot or this the brush put together already and where from?

You can buy the Muehle synthetic brushes with the STF knot, or can have one made by brush makers who have access to this knot.

I have a rotation of Muhle STF 25mm, EVO (ver.1) and Simpsons Trafalgar T3.

The Muhle is a little pokey.
EVO and T3 very luxurious and comfortable.

The Edwin Jagger brushes are said to be Muhle knots set at a higher loft. However, read some speculation that the
EJ knots have been quietly replaced with cheaper AP Co G5A knots...but there's one thing I do not get.

G5A and G5C are pretty short knots....you can't get a loft of more than 52-53mm out of them....so how does EJ use these knots
and get 58mm (from the 25mm brush)?

Rudy Vey made me a custom 25 mm Muhle STF brush and it is my favorite brush of any hair or bristle type. I am well pleased with it.
