Work in progress for going on a year almost.

Baby had a nap and I took the opportunity to get some polishing done.

Knot is just dry fit for show and tell.

Unnumbered Rubberset 400.

Have you made or restored a brush lately?

Thanks Freddy.

Me too. I have a Switchback, ordered the new ones that Phoenix has, and a couple of new Rubberset clones like a Shavemac 400.

I like barber handle brushes a lot.

I too really like the Rubberset/Barber handles even though I don't own any (yet). I do have a Vie Long horse hair brush on the way that does have a barber handle. Can't wait to try it. On the subject though, I would love to find a nice vintage brush, especially a Rubberset, to restore if I can get it at a good price. Now I know where I'm going to post the pictures when the time comes!

I have a few in various stages, but here is a 100T that I transplanted a Semogue boar knot from the 1470. This is a great face lathering brush with a loft around 50.

That 400 is a beauty! What brand is the knot?

Thanks.

The knot is an Envy White.

I am going to use it in a different handle a friend made for me though. I haven't decided what to put in the 400 permanently yet. Was thinking of using a Shavemac 2 band silvertip bulb or an Elite Razor Manchurian.

Another great job, Todd. I love those old Ever-Ready, Rubberset, and the like handles. Giving them a second life is always a plus in my book. Happy2
