Brush for Hercules

Gentlemen,

A few summers ago I did some stage work in Los Angeles. I managed to take a trip to the Old Town Shaving Company (now closed) in Pasadena. The place had a huge selection of Rooney, Morris and Forndran, Wiborg, among other brushes. The Rooney pictured was in the collection. I don't know the knot size, but that baby was huge. Imagine lathering with it. OY!

Obie, maybe we met. Your face looks familiar and chances were I was working during the time you would have been visiting the shop. Nonetheless, the big Rooney brush is indeed the real deal! I don't know how they made those and how hard it is to find hair that long for the display brushes.

Zack, we could have met. A small world, eh? It was a delightful store, and that brush blew me away.

I must have missed that when I was there the summer of 2017. That's even a bit much for a head shaver like myself...

Yes Obie a huge brush, nothing Odin couldn't handle though... I do know a buddy who could DEFINITELY use that brush on his BACK!

That brush was huge, something I had never seen. Imagine trying to lather with it, probably using both hands. OY!
