You're killing me here man.

Are you waiting for one?  I know how you feel...mine is en route.  I hope this doesn't make it worse... Wink

Good morning/afternoon, Gentlemen. I wanted to share a picture of our newly redesigned Emillion shaving brush handle. Although it's not yet been filled with hair, I think you'll get the idea rather quickly.

As some of you know, this--and several other--patterns were designed for the smaller, 20--24mm knots that were popular years ago. Now the demand is for larger 26-30mm brushes, with 26 and 28mm sizes being our most popular. The challenge is that when we scale these handles proportionally, they rapidly become unwieldy.

Lee and I agreed that the maximum handle length should be kept to 68mm or less.

Anyway, Lee and I kicked this problem around for several months before the obvious finally dawned--just redesign it! Obviously, we needed to retain the same basic concept. Execution, however, took a few tries.... Tongue

Anyway, here it is. We hope you like the result.

Further to the above, we have some pretty exciting things in the works. I don't want to say more at the moment simply because I don't know if they'll come to fruition--or, if so, just how long they will take.

No worries! I hope we can make our purchasing experience a bit less challenging in the future.

Have a great day!

For anyone who's not into waiting 3 - 5 months for a new M&F brush, we have this 1XL in Cobalt Resin with a 24mm Finest Fan knot available for immediate delivery. It's a customer return from a fellow who says he used this brush only a few times (evidenced by a slight discoloration on the top of the knot), but decided he didn't like it. We've cleaned the handle, sanitized the knot and are offering it at a $40.00 discount from the original price. This is a very nice brush. You can see more on our ReadyMade website page.

Very nice Moonjava turn on that Emillion. Brad you have some of the most consistently brilliant Moonjava turns. That is such a great looking handle when its done well.
