So is the general consensus that you gain efficiency and without losing smoothness going from 0.99 to 1.20? Current razors are the Paradigm DB and Wolfman WR2. I have a timeless ti slim SB that is just okay and I’m wondering which plate to go with to replace the Timeless with. Thanks!

I received my Blutt 1.20 razor yesterday.
. 2 days of growth it was a very comfortable smooth shave.
Curious to see how it's going to work for a daily shaver come weekend shaving for me.

How would you guys compare the blutt 1.20 to the gen 2 level 2 CG razors? Last DE razor I shaved with, trying to justify the purchase lol.

As I understand, Blutt reduces blade exposure while gap increases. With this, he maintains a smooth facefeel while efficency gets higher.

Where does the 1.20 plate fall as far as efficiency?

For me, the Blutt 120 plate is between CG Lv2 and Lv3 efficency wise. I agree that this plate i beautiful smooth with only a small amount of blade feel.

I kind of think this might be sort of the range of efficiency.
But that's only with my limited experience of two shaves of 2 days of growth.
Really very smooth but I don't think it's sufficient enough for me on 2 days of whiskers, a little bit too many passes for me.
I'm hoping the weekend works out better with daily shaver.

Never tried 1.20 in Blutt knowing how it’s designed and it’s craftsmanship personally you can’t go wrong either gap on Blutt it’s forgiving more than some DE’s I have tried….86 I would suggest it’s very smooth Like Gen1 Lv1 CG, Lvl2 Gen2 is .99 but YMMV get two plates see what suits you the best only way to figure it out..not cheap but sometime it’s only option than guessing…

Getting back to the Blutt 1.20 for a few shave. Very well clamped blade, let's see how it goes for a bit.
