Blades that do not work for me because they are not sharp enough:
Derby Extra, Shark Super Chrome, Durablade 7 AM, Merkur, Van der Hagen, Gillette Rubie Plus, Astra Super Platinum (I can use this one if I had to do so, but prefer not to use them)
Personna Comfort Coated (lab blue) on the first shave; as coating wears off, they work fine
Blades that do not work for me because they are not smooth enough:
Feather Hi Stainless- work for two shaves and then become too rough
Astra SP blades and Gillette Rubie Plus are not particularly smooth along with their lack of sharpness
What blades to you find both sharp and smooth?

The QShave blades that shipped with my Futur clone were amazing on the first shave. Sharp, yet smooth.
The second use - not so much.
Third use - have to swap it out half-way through the shave.
I don't know of any other blade that starts out so well and degrades so quickly.
If I was the type to use a blade once and toss it, then I suppose they'd be fine, but I like to get 12 shaves out of a blade.
Why exactly 12?
Because I use a D12 to keep count.
