Blades: Remove after every shave?

Lots of convincing arguments on both sides. I don't have to think about it, because I change to a different razor with each shave, so the blade gets dried and moved.

Remove them and toss them.  At $0.25 each, not worth the effort to keep track.

That's close to a hundred bucks a year you could spend on other shaving stuff! And most blades give a better shave after two or three shaves, you're cheating yourself.

When I try switching to different razors with the same blade I have observed a drop in efficiency of the blade.Not sure if anyone else has felt the same way.
Cutting angle of one razor is different from another razor and may be is impacting the blade edge. I only use a blade for max 3-4 shaves.

Never had a drop in efficiency putting the blade in the next razor, but I don't wipe the blade, just rinse under running water.

I’ve noticed the opposite. After 5 or 6 shaves on a feather in the Drakkant it’s starting to feel less sharp but then I put it in the Rockwell 6s on 4 it’s sharp and good for three or four more. I haven’t tried it with other razors but I do agree about different razors having different geometry

I've noticed Marko's presupposition. In fact, I start my Feathers in a feather razor, and walk them up the razor aggression ladder as the blade dulls, different angles take advantage of that process. I get about 4 shaves out of one blade with no tugging.

I get ten to fifteen out of a feather and then it feels like it has teeth!

About $30 for me, don't shave every day.  The prices was for feathers. go with Astra's and it's about 10.  Everyone is different - just not a complication I want to add to my life at this point.

Changing blades is a complication I avoid!
