Blades: Remove after every shave?

I need one of those Dices/Dies that keeps track till 12...I keep telling myself I will remember
but end up forgetting...so I have to rely on my skin to tell me if the blade stays or goes.

Easy enough. They make polyhedral dice in d4, d6, d8, d12, and d20. They're prevalent on eBay or Amazon.

I take mine out after every use and rinse it then pat/wipe it dry. After this I hang it on the wall magnet for use next time.

I have 5 strips of magnets marked 1-5 next to it for shaves and I also have another strip just for shims and new blades that will be used next.

Does cleaning/wiping them help? Idk since I’m fairly new to DE and have done it since day one but have heard many people say it really helps them get more shaves.

Some blades instruct 'do not wipe blade' on the wrapper. They are coated and the less wear the better.

I rinse mine thoroughly, snap my wrist to shake excess water off, place it back in the wrapper, and shave with it to the next time.

Thanks to Max I learned to mark the blade with a Sharpie each time I use it, so I never lose track.

3 shaves and no matter how good it still shaves I discard it and start fresth.

I’d say the “do not wipe” is mostly a cover their butt thing. Plus I could see it causing issues if someone wipes hard inwards at the blade and dulls it more or wipes glue dot residue towards the edges.

I usually just put the blade in a tissue anymore and fold the tissue over the blade to pat it dry instead of wiping anything. But if I do wipe by the edge I never apply any pressure inwards so no pressure goes against the edge. But the reason I like folding a tissue over the blade instead of wiping anymore is because of the silly glue dots that I don’t want wiped any further towards the edge of the blade.

I normally loosen up the razor’s clamping force to rinse it off and let it dry. I don’t remove the blade unless it’s time to be tossed away…

I don't take the tires off of the car after a drive, why would I remove the razor blade from a razor?

Any handling of the blade is potentially detrimental to the longevity and performance of said blade.

I tap the end of the head on my pants to dislodge excess water and put the razor in the medicine cabinet.

I just recently started doing the Blackland method, which is to loosen the top cap, rinse, and put it on the counter/stand. I don't see any reason to remove the blade. I used to leave the razor fully assembled, but once or twice over the past couple of years that has caused some small tea stains. While toothpaste and a toothbush gets rid of the stains, hopefully loosening the top cap will keep that from happening.

Yup. I like the macabre juxtaposition of "Bunnykins" and "deadly-sharp razor blades". 
Just in case you're worried, we never get small children visiting.
