Hi My first post. I'm a relative newbie who has gone down the rabbit hole and love this stuff. I've recently purchased both Gamechangers and really enjoy the shave. I am totally frustrated with the fact that my favorite blades{Nacets and 7 o'clock greens} get ridiculously stuck on the baseplates and require a fight with bending and fear of cutting myself when I remove after each shave. I've used alcohol  and hot water before removal so it's not the wax and I can hear the blades snap on when I put the blade over the baseplate nubs. Has anyone had this and found a solution? These blades don't stick on my Rockwell 6C.  I really don't enjoy my shave when it ends with a struggle Thanks Bob

I used to have the GC and if i recall it gets stuck on the base plate posts? I think i used a hand towel to lift from the blade tabs to get it off.

Also welcome to the forum

thanks for the reply   Don't you think it's a little ridiculous that they can't dial it down a couple of thousandths so this doesn't happen. I emailed them and they just proudly replied at how exacting their tolerances are....

Hi, Bob. I get annoyed by that too and I brought that up in another forum and a user mentioned a little trick to removing the blade safely. What you do is place the place with the blade facing down on a flat surface and press one of the sides ( the guard) and the blade pops right off. I tried it and it works.

This is a brilliant solution. Thanks for sharing...

Living on the edge
Probably due to rigid blade clamping..and surface tension of water between blade and plate.
Happens even on Wolfman....just lay it blade down on a towel or napkin and it slides off

I've not had that problem but then I don't use the GC as my daily shaver.  You might want to try some different blades to see if you can find some that don't do that.  I agree with you that nobody needs the stress of potentially slicing your fingers after a nice relaxing shave.
