Blade Prices?

Agreed seams like counterfeit is a problem...

I have enough blades to make it for the rest of my life, so I do not plan on purchasing any more soon. Most of the blades I have purchased were from Amazon in 100 blade bulk packages. The only blades that I purchased that were poor quality blades were Astra Superior Platinum, but I have tried those blades from a variety of source and none of them work for me. They just are not sharp enough for my beard. I have never gotten blades that I thought were counterfeits. I also have BIC Chrome Platinum, Nacets, Permasharp Super, 7 O'Clock Super Platinum black, Wilkinson Sword Classic from Germany, Gilllette branded Wilkinson Sword from India, Personna Platinum Chrome (Israeli Reds from Israel), Personna Crystals, Personna Lab Blues by Accutec Blades, Astra Superior Stainless, Dorco Prime Platinum STP301, Vidyut Super Max Blue Diamond, Durablade Sharp Titanium, Sharp Platinum, and Lord Platinum.

Early on, I purchased a sampler pack that also contained Feather, 7 O'Clock Permasharp green, 7 O'Clock Sharpedge yellow, Polsilver, Gillette Silver Blue, Gillette Platinum, Derby Extra, Shark Super Chrome, and others. None of those preformed well enough for me to get a 100 pack.

By no means a plug but as per the original post in this thread Italian Barber regularly puts the Nacets on for what I would consider a decent price currently on for $13.59 CAD.

Nacet blades are best sourced from Jordan - at 10 dollars or less per 100 they are an outstanding value.
