Sabre L2 is awesome!

Normally, I shave every other day because my skin is sensitive and I can’t shave daily. Today I tried to shave with 24h growth and I had a perfect shave with the L2. No nicks, cuts, and the normal irritation that I get when shaving. Shane, you nailed it!

Why is it so quiet on the Blackbird razor front when it comes to the forums? It's an outstanding razor, but there hasn't been much talk around some of the forums about it in a while. It needs more love.

I have got a machined SB incoming today - will probably shave with it tomorrow and evaluate. Hoping that it works out.

I think it’s just due to the fact that there isn’t any news and just about everything that could be said has been. It’s interesting because sales are actually way up so I guess active forum posts don’t correlate to sales the way I thought they might.

We do have some cool things in the works, however. Blackbird stand is in production, new polisher is on board so we’ll finally have polished parts in stock far more often, an SE and DE will debut in spring, and we have some premium finishes rolling out in the next several months.

Probably because it's not new, simple as that. This community is hell-bent on focusing on the next shiny new razor or soap formulation. Not saying that's a bad thing, it just is.

There’s one particular area that the Blackbird can be beaten - price. The new DE will a more budget-friendly stainless option.

Just a quick few words, if I may. If the first shave or two don’t quite “click,” give it some time. It’s an incredibly efficient razor, and finding the best angle and learning the right touch could take a while. Or, hopefully, you’ll just get the hang of it right away.
