This year for sure. Probably mid-summer. After the SE and new DE. The design is completed so now it’s about scheduling.

Any other comment on the new DE? On the milder side or even a hungrier beast than BlackBird?

Just a quick few words, if I may. If the first shave or two don’t quite “click,” give it some time. It’s an incredibly efficient razor, and finding the best angle and learning the right touch could take a while. Or, hopefully, you’ll just get the hang of it right away. Smile

Just had a quick evening shave - and when I say quick, I was speeding through it. Definitely not best practice when trying out a new razor, but I had to satisfy my curiosity before dinner.

It seems that I am in the fortunate group that gets it right away.

My initial impression: just a touch more blade feel than my Paradigm 17-4, and incredibly intuitive to find the angle. It passed my ATG test with flying colors. Yes, there is audible feedback, but does not affect performance in any way. The small blade gap made me feel confident that my skin is less likely to get caught in it when I am speeding.

Wonderful shave! This is a keeper, for sure!

Glad to read about the good experience, stesa!
Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”
