You can also find them at Home Depot labelled as #10 nylon washers. They are 5 for $ .88

Where does one find these magical washers? I assume they’re made of some sort of rubber or plastic, and can be used on any razor with a standard handle stem.
Happy Lol, the “Magical White Washer!” Couldn't live without them

Thank you! I'm off to Home Depot tomorrow. I always enjoy going to my local Home Depot, as it's located on the site of former Sick's Stadium, the home of the Seattle Pilots MLB team (now known as the Milwaukee Brewers). #10 nylon washers. Got it.

I've been using a Dart almost exclusively for a few weeks now. This razor never interested me since many say that it's harsher than the blackbird, and I did not like the BB at all. However, I know better and eventually decided to try it for myself and I'm very impressed. So far it's been my favorite sub $100 I've tried, and I've tried many (game changer 0.84, karve B-D, rockwell 6S just to name a few). I've also owned many much more expensive razors which didn't make the cut and were eventually sold.
I'm a daily 2 pass shaver, WTG and ATG. This razor has surprised me with its smoothness. I have no irritation at all after several weeks of daily shaves. I was expecting blackbird type blade feel or even more, but I'm glad my assumptions were wrong.
I think the aesthetics are beautiful as well! Love the handle and head design.
If you're on the fence about the Dart, I would suggest to at least give it a try.
I'm not one to collect razors and I only keep razors that I absolutely love. So far in my fairly small collection, I own 3 out of the 4 razors that Shane has made and I don't see any of them being sold off ever.
Great job Shane and keep up the great work!

Multiple anecdotes about excessive blade feel also prevented me from even considering the Dart.  Maybe I'll at least keep an eye out for one on the secondary market to try.  Likewise, I once owned the BB (bought blind based solely on my admiration for the way Shane does things)....and quickly sold it to a willing friend who still uses it a couple times/week.

Yup, same situation here. But I've learned over time that you won't truly know whether something will work for you or not until you actually try it. Post your experience with the Dart here if you ever get your hands on one.

The Blackland 30 day money back guarantee is hard to beat.  I have a Blackbird and a Dart, and love them both.

Similar experience here. I saw a lot of mixed reviews early on in this thread and youtube, but picked one up on the BST after a number of members, as well as Shane, noted that a slightly steeper angle gave good results. My first two shaves with a shallow angle were a little harsh but after an adjustment to a slightly steeper angle, it has been smooth sailing. The one exception is feather blades which I do not like in this razor. Otherwise I can use the Dart on autopilot for a close and efficient shave.

Glad to hear that! I’ll never understand the wide range of reviews for the Dart. It’s such an easy and smooth razor for me that has never once bitten. In my experience it’s an autopilot razor that I don’t even have to think about. It’s the ultimate YMMV razor, apparently.

Love the Dart. Not only best $100 DE razor by far but among the best DE razors at any price
