I should have them within a few days. After QC I’ll decide on a release timeline. Likely less than two weeks.

Awesome news! Glad to hear that it's going well so far.

Also, polished Blackbirds will be back this Saturday at 9am Pacific. We'll also have polished Vectors, Sabres and Darts at the same time.

Really looking forward to seeing the polished brass blackbird. I was convinced I was done buying razors but this brass blackbird may bring me back! Been looking for a great brass or bronze option for a while and thought I had found it with the Timeless Bronze but it was just too mild for me.

Sounds like this Blackbird shaves more like a Timeless 95 which would be great and the design is stunning!

Yes the longer handle is returning in stainless this spring or summer. Probably no dual head anytime soon. I suspect the market is extremely small.

Looking for a polish/cream to polish a polished blackbird top cap that leaves a mirror finish Smile

I'm thinking a metal jewelry oriented polish/cream.

Thoughts?

gregcss, I've used both Flitz and Maas to polish razors before. Flitz I used to polish an iKon SBS alloy head to a near mirror finish, Maas to start the same process on a brushed stainless steel Mongoose head (not quite done with that one). For these projects, I used the polish with steel wool. It sounds like you will only be needing a cloth.

Flitz worked really well with the iKon, but Maas you can get in a lavender scent, which is a lot better than what Flitz smells like. Smile Also, I believe the Maas came with a polishing cloth. Both brands are great products in my book.
