I’m not responsive to peer pressure. But I am pretty responsive to money being thrown at me.

Good, I just sold 3 of them for you. I get the first one shipped to my plater right tho.

Sit tight, my friend. The 20s will be flying at you like a cheap stripper at a bachelor party.

I like where your Head is at my Friend, that would be something else!
That sounds like a challenge, my friend.

Not a Challenge, it just opened up a bunch of new possibilities for me! I’m just trying to decide what to get mine plated in, Gold or Rhodium....

I'd have to have 2 complete sets.

24k would be sick on a BB. I think a really good bright nickel would be great too. I like the warmth of nickel over rhodium. Plus, if you go nickel or gold, it could easily be stripped and replated again.

I kind of want a complete Razor set in Machined Brass, and one complete Razor in Gold. The Gold would be my dedicated Sunday Shaver!

Shane Blackland Razors , I know you’ve been crazy busy with the new Vector release as well as the new Jet Black finish for the Blackbird, but I was wondering if you had an idea of when the Brass Blackbird would be released? Also curious about the Slant you’ve got in the works. Thanks!

Brass production is expected to start in late November. I'm hopeful it'll be ready before the holidays, but I'm not holding my breath. The slant is probably a spring release.

I'm afraid all these new Blackland models coming out are just going to kill the value of the current Blackbirds. Y'all should just dump them while you can for whatever you can still get. I'll be watching the classifieds to <cough> help a brother out. Wink

I’ve had a polished Blackbird for a few weeks and it’s one of the best razors out there, probably tied for #1 with Charcoal Goods for me. Very comfortable shaves and shaves my neck just beautifully - that’s my trouble area that gets weepers and irritations. I had a machined finish BB about a year ago and I struggled with that one, it cut me up, gave me irritation and it had a drag to it that felt like I was shaving with the emergence brakes on, edges felt scratchy and made it feel more aggressive than it was, the polish version has been a completely different experience. The polishing, fit and finish is one of the best I’ve seen that’s not a Wolfman. Love the design and the shaves I get with the polished Blackbird, just a great razor and glad I gave the polish version a go.
