Haven’t had time. Shaved with it this morning on highest setting of 9 with a Voskhod blade. I’ll take pics later when we get back home. Different feel with the titanium than the stainless version. Can’t really explain it but it was a great shave. Next time I shave with it, I’ll try a PolSilver or Wizamet. First time I have used a Voskhod blade in a very long time and it felt great in the titanium Osprey.

Thanks man, love that brush! Done by Javier at Brochas El Druida. It’s a combination of Dino-Yellow Trustone and clear resin finished with a Shavemac 2 Band D01 Flat Hand Tied Knot. I am going through some of the older brushes in my collection and having the inferior knots removed and re-knotting them with Shavemac knots done by Bernd at Shavemac. My full collection is on Instagram under Gmhjr06.

Received a shipping notification late last night that the razor was being shipped. I didn’t think much of it and thought that I’d probably have the razor here either by Friday or Saturday. Well, this morning after staying in from work to run some errands, I get a notification that the item is out for delivery. I did a quick check on tracking & history just to be sure and turns out that the package was shipped out on the 7th, Monday yet I didn’t get any updated info until last night. Go figure. Of course this has nothing to do with Blackland, just chalk it up to USPS and their due diligence or, lack thereof on updating. Nevertheless, I’m extremely excited that it got here ahead of schedule.

Only caveat is that I was under the assumption that I was getting the hi-visibility black ink on the number adjustment dial but, to my slight disappointment the option to do so was not fulfilled. Perhaps I failed to properly leave a note on the sales/order page. It is what it is and if I desire to send it in for the upgraded option, I’ll do so at a later date. Enough of that and I will say no more words except that the look, feel and balance on this Osprey Ti Polished are exceptional. My grief is that I can’t shave with this thing as I already did earlier this morning. *Sigh. It’s on the shave menu for the next one though.

I think i did a video on one. The Ambassador is more efficient, and it isn't close. It's just more blade forward. The osprey has more mild settings down low. So depends on what you're after. I ended up returning my osprey and the Ambassador is one of my favorites. Along with my Yates 921-EH, blackbird, and dart razors.

Whoops, totally misread. I had a rocnel sailor. I found the blade being super flat difficult to work with and couldn't find a great angle. It was medium efficiency but nicked me pretty often. Not the smoothest. Felt similar to my homelike taiga. Flat blade angle. The rocnel sailor I had was the 2021 I believe.

*Update:
Got in touch with the team over Blackland Razors and a return swap was set up in minutes. Just print out my return label and send my unit back to them. Easy -Peasy lemon squeezy. Excellent customer service and truly a pleasant, no hassle procedure.

That's why they get my business with a rare few others. Professionalism, courtesy & accountability in backing their products 100% as if it were second nature. Integrity and honesty goes a long way with me. That's how it should be and that's why I'll be a loyal customer.

Yeah, I pulled the pom-poms out of the closet...
