Hi, John here from BTRC. We started out to make a soap that performed as well or better than any other on the market. That, actually, was more difficult and took way longer than any of us imagined. After a ton of R&D and even more testing, we found a recipe that met our objective but when it came to scent, we couldn't agree. We hit upon an idea that is uniquely our own - unscented soap that you scent yourself via a scented shave oil, either as a pre-shave applied to your face or by adding a few drops to the soap when lathering - or none at all if you prefer. We add a new scent every quarter and have 5 in production with our 6th coming out in July, 2017. We also make a great post-shave balm in matching scents. Today's shave was with Black Tie Razor's Unscented Shaving Soap combined with the Casino Royale oil. Very nice! The matching shave balm is fantastic.
