They did a nice job engineering this razor. Its also awesome to see a zamak head that is not a EJ/Mule clone type head, you know? Its different, it seems to shave very well, and It is a nice in for the wet shaving community on the shaving mass market. Im not sure how many sales will really trickle down from the success (or failure) of the Bevel/Oneblade/VDH etc.. but it would be an interesting metric to track.

The store generics are actually Personna Reds, not the lab blues. Pretty much the same to me anyway.

So who actually watched Clean Shaver's video? He literally freaking stammers when he tries to explain that this is marketed mainly at Black people, (which it just plain is, no judgement passed, but why can't he just come out and form a coherent, honest sentence...), basically says the creme plain sucks, but then tries to tell us he thinks it is/could be worth thirty bucks a month? Good humor...
This is a perfectly good example of why product reviews in general, basically kinda suck. Just my opinion. YMMV.

Full disclosure---I didnt watch the video.
I will query to say that the subject of race is a touchy subject and choosing words wisely is paramount. I did watch the WSJ/NYT/GMA whatever sales pitch by the CEO and spokesman. Yes he is black and it is marketed toward black men. I cant say that is a bad thing since foliculitis hit black men very hard, as well as many whites. SE and DE shaving, has been shown to alleviate foliculitis so I would say it is perfect and well intentioned marketing. I think I could cut the company some slack, even though DE shaving benefits all races and genders. It increases our exposure to markets that might not be attracted any other way.
But for someone who is videotaping himself doing a review of a razor and has to broach the subject of race, I am sure he stammered a bit.
