Palmolive shave stick, incredible performance, for a minuscule cost.

I do like the price of Arko...but the scent Sick Gives me a headache every time I smell it. I ended up PIFing it to my wife's cousin

That Razorock "What the Puck" 3-pack. 3 very good soaps for only $9.99 before shipping. These soaps are the real deal and punch way above their weight.

I purchased a new Gillette Slim in 1962 for $1.50, and added a Fat Boy a year later, then shaved with those razors for the next 50 years. If cost, and a reasonable shave, are the measure of value, I got my money's worth. I currently I have a straight that is 150 years old that I paid less than $50 for, and it may have provided outstanding shaves for many generations of shavers, and will continue to do so. However, what I currently value the most are a couple of custom straights that cost a thousand times more than my old Slim; their value is in their aesthetics. This is a wonderful hobby and for me value lies in whatever provides pleasure for our morning shave.

I agree with SCShaver about La Toja. Others that come to mind for me are Lucky Tiger AS and NIVEA Men Sensitive Post Shave Balm. In the razor department, I'm sure there are more and/or better value razors than I know about, but the Parker Variant was definitely a good value for me.
